Terminator – The Terrestrial Dry Fly for Aggressive Fish

The Terminator is a Dry Fly designed to target trout and grayling in fast moving waters. Its foam body provides excellent buoyancy, while the rubber legs add realism and movement, making it irresistible to the most aggressive fish.

This fly is ideal for hunting fishing, where trout and grayling are looking for large, easy-to-spot prey. It can also be used in a hopper-dropper setup, paired with a light nymph to probe different layers of water.

How to Fish with the Terminator – Dry Fly

It is a hunting fish, casting near grassy banks, submerged logs and shaded areas, where terrestrial insects tend to fall into the water. A light retrieve with small vibrations can imitate a struggling insect and induce an aggressive attack. It works well in rough and fast water, maintaining excellent visibility for the angler and the fish. Excellent for a hopper-dropper setup, where it can be combined with a nymph to explore both the surface and the lower water layers.
