The Purple Phupa is the technical evolution of an immortal classic, the Pheasant Tail nymph. It takes a natural and credible imitation and enhances it with three levels of attraction signals, making it one of the most versatile nymphs in the catalog.

The Imitation (Body): The base is a pheasant tail body, a material that fish recognize and trust. This allows it to be effective in clear water and on selective fish.

The Hidden Glow (Ribbing/Thorax): The body is enhanced by a purple copper ribbing and a minimum of Purple Spectra Dubbing in the thorax. This isn't an aggressive flash, but a translucent glow that adds depth and curiosity.

The Vitality Point (Thorax): The real engine is the white Antron Yarn "mini spot." This tuft isn't just a color contrast, but acts like a lung: it traps micro-oxygen bubbles and pulses, simulating the life and movement of an emerging pupa.
