Pink Lady - Jig Nymph An 8-year classic. The balance between Imitation and Vitality. The Pink Lady is one of the original "classics" from moscatzetze.com. Developed and tested for eight years, it is a nymph with proven effectiveness, particularly deadly for Marble Trout. It is the nymph of choice for spring and autumn in water that isn't too murky. Its design is based on a technical balance between imitation and attraction.
The Imitation (Body): 90% of the Pink Lady is pure imitation. The body is pheasant tail and the thorax is hare's dubbing, natural materials that take on a realistic appearance when wet.
The Attraction (The Signals): The nymph's effectiveness comes from two technical signals. The Tag (Color): A small pink Antron Yarn tag acts as an intense color point. It is the first visual cue, a hot spot that stimulates curiosity. The Thorax (Life): The thorax is a mix of hare's dubbing and brick-colored CDC. This is the nymph's "lung": it traps micro-bubbles, pulses, and breathes, giving the imitation the spark of life that makes it credible. It is a nymph that combines the realism of a natural body with the attractive signals of a tag and a living thorax.
